Membership in the CHCA provides a financial base to support the goals and initiatives embodied in our mission statement. The CHCA is led by a dedicated group of volunteers who work tirelessly to protect and preserve Centerport and its waterfront. Members receive periodic email updates regarding important news and challenges that affect our hamlet, an e-copy of our interactive quarterly newsletter, notices of upcoming meetings, minutes from past meetings, and invitations to special CHCA events. During COVID, all member meetings are held by invitation over Zoom.

The donated membership funds are deposited in a dedicated CHCA account at the Teacher’s Federal Credit Union. At each CHCA meeting, a Treasurer’s Report is provided. We encourage area residents to join annually in January in order to continue to be directly connected to the most pertinent and current information affecting Centerport and its wildlife.
